Team New Hatches
Bronny Naylor
first learnt to ride at the age of 10 at Turville Valley Stud, which was then a riding school. Soon after, I joined Woodland Pony Club, taking part in Prince Philip Club Games and even being reserve when the team qualified for the Horse of the Year Show at Wembley.
At 15, I was fortunate enough to be bought a horse by my grandfather—and I haven’t looked back since. Over the years I have competed in eventing, dressage, and show jumping, though show jumping has always been my true passion. I have competed nationally at affiliated level, with Hicksteadremaining my favourite venue.
Alongside competing, I have served on various Riding Club committees and on our local British Showjumping Junior Committee, organising training for many members. I have kept my horses at home, teaching regularly, and proudly trained my daughter from Pony Club level through to affiliated show jumping on ponies and horses.
In recent years, my family and I have embarked on an exciting new venture at New Hatches. We transformed a disused dairy farm into first a livery yard, and later developed an adjoining barn into a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility—all under one roof. Our aim was to “give something back” to the horse, and we saw a real need in the area for such a centre. With our knowledge, experience, and passion, this was the natural next step.
Our facilities now include:
• A salt water treadmill combined with a SPA
• A weigh bridge and electromagnetic weigh bridge
• A solarium
• A dedicated veterinary area with stocks for use by ambulatory vets
We also offer extensive work-up facilities for vettings, lameness assessments, and diagnostics. We work closely with local vets and receive referrals from equine hospitals across the UK.
We are proud to welcome referrals from:
• Veterinary hospitals
• Equine veterinary practices
• Physiotherapists, osteopaths, and sports masseurs
• Equine trainers
• Transport companies
• Word of mouth and repeat clients
This breadth of support stands as a true testament to our facilities, our dedicated staff, and our ethos.
I have enjoyed a lifetime with horses and consider myself one with them. My greatest passion has always been to give back to these majestic animals—we owe it to them to understand their language and to respond with care, respect, and dedication.
